Training Dates for 2010

Below are the training dates for 2010 for CERT:

  • January 25 - 1st Aid
  • March 22 - Homeland Security
  • May 24 - Search and Rescue
  • September 27 -Topic to be determined
  • November 22 - 1st Aid

All meetings are currently scheduled for 6:30pm and the Circleville Fire Dept.

There will be training conducted at each of the meetings, please mark your calendar to attend.

 

For the January Meeting, please be ready to volunteer for an open officer position and to discuss the By-Laws.

  • Six Counties Added To Disaster Declaration
    BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – Six additional counties have been designated for all categories of Public Assistance as part of Minnesota’s federal disaster declaration, according to officials from the Minnesota Division of Emergency Management and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).

    BLOOMINGTON, Minn. -- Mitigation experts from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) will be on-hand at the Wadena County Fair to help individuals learn about techniques that can help minimize property damage in the event of severe weather.
  • FEMA Local Hires Support Disaster Effort In Minnesota
    BLOOMINGTON, Minn. -- The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), working with the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development, has expanded its team of disaster assistance employees to include several local hires from the Minneapolis-St.Paul area. The hiring of local unemployed individuals provides FEMA and its state and local partners with community-based skills and insight that enhances efforts to help local residents affected by recent severe storms get back on their feet.
