Current CERT Leader, Joe Testa, has asked to step out of his current position and to be able to focus on Deputy Director of the Pickaway County EMA position, Steve Sabine has graciously accepted the CERT Leader position. Congratulations to Steve and we're sure he will be a greatly added benefit to the CERT program in Pickaway County. Joe will continue to head up the teaching component of the CERT program.

Agreement with Ireland on Aviation Preclearance
U.S. Department of Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff signed an agreement on new aviation preclearance security operations with Irish Minister of Transport Noel Dempsey. The agreement broadens U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) operations in Shannon and Dublin, Ireland, to include full preclearance of commercial and private air passenger flights destined for the United States.
